Customers are the organisations you provide waste management services to. Each customer can have multiple sites where collections take place. Managing your customer records accurately ensures sales, jobs, and invoices are linked to the right people.
The customers table
The customers table gives you a central view of all your customer organisations. You can browse, search, and filter the list to find the customer you need. The table shows each customer's name, contact details, and the number of linked sites.
Adding a customer
Navigate to Customers
Go to Relationships in the sidebar and click Customers. Then click the Add button.
Enter organisation details
Fill in the customer's organisation details -- name, registration number, address, phone number, and email address.
Add contact details
Enter the primary contact for the organisation. This is the person your team will typically communicate with.
Save the customer record
Click Save to create the customer. You will be taken to the customer details page where you can add sites and further information.
Customer details
The customer details page lets you view and edit all information about an organisation. From here you can update organisation info, contact details, and invoicing addresses. You can also see linked sites, sales, and jobs at a glance.
Managing customer sites
Each customer can have multiple sites representing physical locations where waste is collected. Setting up sites is an important step before creating sales or jobs.
Open a customer record
Navigate to Relationships and click Customers, then select the customer you want to manage.
Navigate to the Sites tab
Click the Sites tab on the customer details page to see all locations linked to this customer.
Click Add Site
Click the Add Site button to create a new site for this customer.
Enter site details
Fill in the site name, address, and contact information for the location.
Save the site
Click Save to add the site to the customer record. It will now appear in the Sites tab and be available when creating sales and jobs.
